孫はまだ小さいので気が早いのですが、もう少し大きくなってから一緒に遊びたいと思います。
I wanted to play dominoes with my toddler but it says these are for 6yrs up. That confuses me because I don’t think a toddler is even physically capable to swallow these (well either way I guess it depends on the kid). In any case, I like them. They are cut from real wood and simply painted over in different colors. He loves watching pythagoras switch on NHK so now we can make our own devices at home and play with that. So far we’ve only made a simple one, but it was enough to get him excited. In fact, what he likes the most is crashing into a wall of dominoes with his toy cars (boys, go figure). The only reason I didn’t give these a perfect score is because they didn’t come in a box or enclosure for storage. I had to buy a cheap 100yen plastic box from DA*SO to store them. Otherwise they’re great and 120 pieces is more than enough to make some intricate domino designs.
