Neat device that changes up the old formula by steeling it and making the training more involved. The ability to lair it with the app, and the expanding library of Digimon through DIM cards adds to the value of the device.Sadly I don’t see it being much of an exercise device, you will burn through your daily exercise missions in minutes, but I did find it got me walking more overall. So I was happy with that.
First things, the VB looks great on first appearance but as you get to use it over time, you start to believe it is more of a prototype leading to a better design.The build seems sturdy but the sensor pertruberance jabs hard into the flesh causing sore spots, the Heart rate readings are inconsistent and has problems with dark skin. There are many things that start to be an annoyance, especially since this product was sold to Premium Bandai in the USA and there’s no way anyone in the West can use the app properly unless they had learned Japanese.As for overseas customer support?We can only hope.Read and take careDo not use alcohol to cleanse your vital bracelet, it degrades it to such an extent that the screen becomes unusable. In a Pandemic one would think that using alcohol is second nature. Just don’t get it near this device.This device is NOT waterproof or dustproof. Seriously, Take this off if you’re washing your hands or doing heavy dusting.Do not insert your DiM backwards and/or if the screen is off. Sometimes, the DiM is read and rendered it unusable (that could also be a faulty DiM) it can be redone if you factory reset your VB but it’s not always the solution.In case of a faulty DiM or broken VB and your wanting your data transferred to another VB or “resetting” DiM.If you’re in Asia, you’re in luck, if you don’t live in Asia, you’re in for a bad time.An honest opinionA global release and more time to develop this project with access to the main DiMs for everyone would’ve been ideal.For a long standing Digimon fan, the allure of finally getting a colour screen to see their favourite monsters in all their glory is great hook. However this is not for small children due to how fragile the product is and due to the expense it is sold, especially overseas.It comes down to nostalgia Vs reason and if you think you can look after this device as carefully as the Digimon that resides inside.Also hoping for an English patch for the existing Vital Bracelet Lab app. It’s is text heavy and in Japanese. I’m probably missing out on all the information. Whether it be error messages or rewards for logging in and transfering my Digimon to and from it.
This thing’s pretty neat! Your Digimon are low-maintenance, though I do wish there were a couple more ways to care for them. The app adds further functionality, and it’s actually pretty addicting to raise Digimon on the device, then take them to the app to store and battle other Digimon all over the world. It’s very simple to cheat its “you gotta exercise to progress!” system by just shaking the watch, so while that’s a shame, I find it’s usually more efficient to just exercise. For those of us overseas, the device is easy to get the hang of even if you don’t know Japanese (and most words are in English anyway).But as much as I’m enjoying it, the absence of some features is baffling. As many others have said, it’s not water resistant in the slightest, but you’re expected to wear this thing while working out – what about my sweat? I’m constantly fighting to keep the bottom of the watch dry during intense exercise. The screen is also extremely prone to hairline scratches, so a screen protector is mandatory if you want to keep it nice. Even if you avoid any impacts, the watch will accumulate them quickly – again, I’m supposed to be working out, so why isn’t it more durable?Be sure to buy some extra DIM cards if you decide to get this. Although it already includes one DIM, you’re going to get bored with it within a couple weeks if you don’t get any other Digimon to raise. If you’re in the US, Amazon JP is the best place to get the watch and the DIM cards. My order arrived in 3 business days, which is faster than most domestic ebay resellers charging more than double for the bracelet+DIMs.

最近は触っていなかったのですが
へぇ・・・今はこんなことになっているんだ・・・
カードをそろえるのが、ちょっとお値段的につらいですねぇ・・・。
Bracelet and app don’t work well or smooth together, you need to have all the time your card with you what is not more than troublesome.
The screen looks awesome, with vivid colors.
But since it’s for working out with your digimon it have nothing but buts.
No waterproof, so even if you sweat while working out i’m not sure how good it will resist. The buttons in the watch feel a little loose, and so of course a lot of dirt will go inside the watch while using it. The wristband is just plastic (as all the digivice as well) and cannot be changed, so for something so easily breakable (it looks like that) is nothing but a bad design.
So to put it easy:
Pros: good screen, great idea to workout to train your digimon
Cons: bulky, looks and feels to plastic-cheap, not waterproof, bad app or troublesome communication with it.
The only problem with this item is the strap size, everything else does exactly what It says on the tin.
I’ve tried a lot things to make me exercise more but this have gave me great drive, reaching specific goals to digivolve digimon to certain ones
